Good day I was rejected by nsfas maybe it is because I reapplied for it for 2023 while I am a returning student. I submitted and appeal successfully now, my status was appeal submitted now is rejected again with the same reason but I passed with 59% of my modules the appeal button does not show anymore what must I do?

If the appeal button is not showing, it means you cannot appeal your rejected application. I will advise that you go to NSFAS office to make inquiry.

good day. my nsfas was rejected for 2023 because i couldn’t meet the 50% pass . so i want to find out if i am to take a gap year in 2023 will i be able to appeal or i will have to reapply for funding in 2024?

If you take a gap year, you’ll have to apply again then applications open. With a gap year, you do not appeal but reply.

Also, you can appeal if you do not meet the 50% module pass.

Good afternoon,I’m Nikiwe Zulu.I am a second year student at TUT Nsfas never fund me this year 2022, If I checked mynsfas status it’s says Awaiting results and institution is Unisa. 2021 I registered some modules at Unisa when I was waiting for TUT to respond,I have decided to study at TUT and I deregister at Unisa.I need your help may I appeal to Nsfas?

If you’re not already funded before you changed institutions, then we suggest that you appeal. On the other hand, if you were funded at UNISA before moving to TUT, then you will only need to contact your institution to submit your academic results to NSFAS and they will update your records in their system.
