If you are using the actual number you used for the application, then it could be a glitch in the srd website. However, if you want to do something urgently in your account, you can follow the guide to update your cell phone number.

You can only use the number you used to apply for the SRD grant to check your status. If you’re using the actual number that you used to apply for the R350 grant, then this situation could be a glitch in the srd website.

Also, you can update your cell phone number.

When changing your cellphone number, you’ll need your 13-digit South African ID number and the 16-digit SASSA application ID (AppID).

All SASSA applicants are given SASSA Application ID (AppID), so you should ask the person for it.

I went to pick n pay to draw my SASSA grant. I put in my ID number and then my cell phone number that I used to regerstrid for sassa. Then it says decline…

Why does it say decline?
How can I fix it to go draw my SASSA grant?

Universityonlineapplication July 26, 2022 - 10:36 am

First, SASSA says there have been lots of srd applications that are approved but payments have not been made yet. So, this could be the reason. However, to make sure SASSA has paid you, you should check your SMS to see if you have received the payment date before you can go to withdraw your R350.

Second, it could be that SASSA has paid you but there is currently a technical issues in the withdrawal process and SASSA says they’re working on it.
