- A copy of your ID or temporary ID issued by the Department of Home Affairs.
- Non-SASSA applicants will provide copies of their parent’s ID or Spouse or Legal Guardian
- Smart ID Cards (copy of both sides of the card)
- Proof of income you the applicant or parent’s or spouse, or legal guardian.
- A person with a disability will need to complete Disability Annexure A Form.
What Does NSFAS Funding Cover?
When your application for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme is successful, these are what NSFAS will fund for your education.

Greetings… My name is Shadrack Oliphant a first year student at unisa. Ive applied for the nsfas bursary last year in October 2022. Due to uncertaunties ive cancelled my application twice. I manange to called the nsfas call center and theyve told me to reapply. My application is for the past 2months on Assessing Financial eligibility. Does that I will still get funded?
