I applied in November 2021 I was approved for December. January. February and March. In June with no pay dates. In the meantime my bank account closed due to no money coming in cause I used the account last in October must I now really wait another 2months I do get a ALLPAY for my 1 child and have a sassa card but they don’t even wanna put it in there and it’s so frustrating and when I call the sassa toll free no it’s says whole day the line is decongested and if I do get through the consultant don’t speak clearly and then I dont get a proper details out of the consultant. Its very frustrating please. Can’t they split the consultants so that 1for status 1 for appeals and a consultant for. Bank verifications then it will work out better and the system will be more speedy and on track thnx

All SASSA R360 “Cash Send” recipients are paid via bank account and Post Office. SASSA sent an SMS notification to all beneficiaries who chose the cash send payment option to choose a different payment method and SASSA has paid the grant to all who responded and chose a different payment method, either bank account or Post Office.

I have applied for sassa last year and got paid For 2months November and December when I went to collect the payment people we getting money for other months that they didn’t get but me they would say you only have for this month only & this year February I changed to an account not knowing that it’s closed iwent to the bank and fixed it since I came back the account is still pending how long must I wait & will I get the money for all this month’s???????

All though, SASSA has been reluctant on giving a time period for verifying and approving banking details. Nonetheless, from experience by lots of people. It will take Sassa at least 7 business working days to 10 business working days to verify and process banking details from the day you submitted your banking information to Sassa.

Yes, once you’re approved for a particular month, SASSA will definitely pay your grant and it doesn’t matter how long it takes. However, SASSA will have to complete verifying your new banking details before they can disburse your grant money into the account.

I have submitted my banking details about 6 months ago, they are still not verified. All my payments since then have been approved but not dates. I called Sassa so many times and I’m told the same thing.. “Just wait, they will approve it”. Can’t I go to the offices and maybe sort this matter out because calling hasn’t done anything for me.

I last collected my sassa grant last year october @ Westgate mall post office since then I tried to change my application details to my bank account “standard bank” marr it only says approved no paydate. I also recently in January went to Braam post office near Clifton building they said there’s no money in my sassa account since I last collected it last year October,so now currently I used sapo app & changed my sassa details to my personal banking standard bank & I got a message back saying “sassa confirms successful update of banking details for standard bank. Your srd sassa 350 grant is now active”. It been about 3weeks now marr no payments has been made.

I applied in August but still haven’t fetched it from the post office can I get it at Pick n Pay? I only changed my banking details in December 2021 and I’m still waiting. When I check it says January and February approved but not paid when I check where you change the banking details it still says pending verification. Yes but you should know this. Only grant recipients who have received an SMS from SASSA confirming their collection pay-out point as either Pick n Pay or Boxer can use the new collections points. Pick n Pay collection points for the SASSA SRD grant has excluded BP Pick n Pay Express, Pick n Pay Clothing, and Pick n Pay Liquor stores
