Hi there. I was advised to change my payment method after being approved since December 2021 up until March 2022. I changed from cash send to post office, almost a month ago. Still I have not received a payment date for R350 SRD grant. Also does this mean I have to re-apply for April as I have only been approved until March? Why have I still not received a date for my first payment? Why is it taking so long?

When you change your payment method, SASSA will try to verify your personal information. For example, names, and surnames from the Department of Home Affairs. After the verification, SASSA will check if you still qualify for the grant and then approve you and send you an SMS with your pay date.
