This could be that somebody else has your application details and he or she has changed your cellphone number so that he or she can collect your money.
We suggest you make a complaint to SASSA so that they can fix the issue in their system for you.

Firstly, we have edited your cellphone number and ID number to avoid making them public. Secondly, SASSA says they’re still processing lots of approved but unpaid R350 grants and will pay once they complete the processing.

There are lots of approved SASSA grants but cannot withdraw their R350. SASSA says they’re working to fix the issue. Better still, you can visit SASSA office to make an inquiry.

You will have to choose a payment method for your grant. Once SASSA approves your payment details, they will approve your payment with a collection date.

To add a payment method, go to the srd website and on click on “how do I change my banking details” and folllow the process.

We have edited your ID number to avoid putting it out in the public domain which is highly risky. Again, if you have not been paid for some months, we advise that you reapply for the R350 grant because SASSA has asked all beneficiaries to reapply.

You should read How To Reapply For SASSA R350 Grant for the reapplication guide.

Once your reapplication is processed, SASSA will approve your previous grants and pay you.

Yes, most applications and payments for R350 grant are still pending. However, SASSA has assured that all pending applications and payments will be processed by the end of June. We suggest you exercise a little patience until June.

I received an sms saying my SRD 350 is now active. What does that mean? I reaplied then received this message but with no payment date for April

Reply
Universityonlineapplication April 29, 2022 - 10:48 am

The Active status is the first status you’ll see when you submit your application for the R350 grant. This simply means SASSA has received your application and they will process your information to decide if you meet the requirement and possibly approve you for the grant.

When you submit your banking details, SASSA will have to verify your banking information and make sure it matches that of your SASSA information. For example, your names.
First, you have to make sure the bank account is in your name. If all information is correct, then we suggest that you contact SASSA with any of these SASSA Contact Details for inquiry because your payment has been longer than expected.

It seems you do have no payment method. We suggest that you add either your banking account by submitting your banking details to SASSA or you select a Post Office payment. Once your payment details are verified, SASSA will give you pay dates and you’ll be paid.
