Yes, you can get SASSA R350 grant and Child Support Grant at the same time. There’s no rule that says you can’t get both. So, if your SRD grant is declined, the best option is to appeal.

If you know SASSA’s decision for declining your R350 grant is incorrect, you can only appeal for reconsideration.

If you have a source of income, then SASSA will not approve you for R350 grant. However, if you don’t and you’re declined anyways, you should appeal by applying for reconsideration.

Its not true. Don’t know where they get their information. They can look up and see that there is no money going into my bank account. There’s not even money in the bank to deduct my funeral policy. And I well where in a car accident. I went for surgery. Pens and screws in my leg and ankle

This is very sad and unfortunate as well. The only option is to apply for reconsideration. The issue now is that SASSA has removed the reconsideration option from the srd website.

So, we suggest that you should keep checking the site to see when they put the reconsideration tab back online so that you can use it to seek reconsideration.

You’ll have to use the Reconsideration tab. Unfortunately, SASSA has removed the reconsideration option from the srd website. You should keep checking to see if they put it back online so that you can use it to request reconsideration.

Also, you can use the application tab to reapply for the R350 grant.

You will use the Reconsideration tab on the srd website. Currently, SASSA has intentionally removed the reconsideration tab. So, we suggest that you wait for a few days to check if they have put the reconsideration tab back on the website so that you can use it.

Or you can reapply for the grant.

This is very sad. The only option is to request R350 reconsideration. However, the Reconsideration tab has been removed from the srd website and SASSA has not given reasons yet. We advise that you keep checking the site so that you can apply for reconsideration when they put it back there.

I don’t receive any income the only money that I get in my account is the money that I’ve been sent by my relatives to do some chores due to not getting time to do them on their behalf due to working hours.

Once again, SASSA cannot verify if the money flowing through your account is yours or if you’re receiving it on somebody’s behalf. So, we suggest that you find another way to receive your relative’s money other than your account if you want SASSA to approve your R350 grant.

We think SASSA intentionally removed the reconsideration application tab from the website. However, they have not given any reason. We are hoping they bring it back so that all declined applications can request reconsideration.

Usually SASSA gives reasons your grant was declined. If they are not true, you can apply for reconsideration. The problem here is that SASSA has removed the reconsideration tab from the srd website. We suggest you wait for a few days to check if they have put back the reconsideration tab on the site so that you can request r350 reconsideration.

Or you can use the application tab to reapply for the grant.
