If your R350 applications are declined, you should appeal for reconsideration. SASSA will know that you’re no longer receiving UIF and your application will be approved.

Firstly, you need to appeal both May and June declined grants.

Secondly, SRD R350 appeal status simply means SASSA has not processed your grants yet. With this, there’s nothing that you can do about it unless SASSA itself process them.

First, SASSA has to verify and approve your payment details before sending you the payment data via SMS. So, we suggest you check if you have provided all the required details for your payment.

Again, SASSA says they’re still processing all pending payments and will pay in July. So, let’s hope they do pay as they’ve said.

Last, yes, you can collect your R350 at Checkers, Boxer, Usave, Pick N Pay, and through bank.

With the May grant declined, the only option is to appeal. Again, there are many still pending and SASSA has assured that they’re still processing all the pending applications and will finish in July and pay.

So, let’s wait for them and hope they do pay as they’ve said.

First, SASSA is no longer paying through Post Office. We strongly advise that you choose another payment method.

Second, you’re going to get all your money for all the months you’re approved for the R350 grant.

Yes, there are many others whose grants are approved and given payment date but cannot withdraw their R350 when they do go to collect their money.

Although SASSA has not given reasons for that effect, we believe the problem is from their side and are working on it. Stay put and we’ll alert you when they give public notice of that.

I was declined..why. I have received previous money..so I don’t understand why sassa has declined…nd when I reapply it says active..

Reply
Universityonlineapplication July 6, 2022 - 8:58 am

When you check your application status and it’s declined, SASSA usually gives the reason for the decline. You should kindly check again and appeal.

Again, you do not reapply when you’re declined for the R350 grant, rather, you appeal SASSA’s decision for reconsideration.

We do recommend that you read How To Submit SASSA SRD R350 DSD Appeal for the guide.

SASSA will have to approve your payment details before approving payment for R350. If you have provided all the information required, there’s nothign to worry about, SASSA will verify and give you a date for collection of your grant via SMS.
