This happens to lots of SASSA beneficiaries. Sometimes, SASSA will send the pay date but had not actually paid the money into your account. According to SASSA, they’re working to pay all approved but unpaid R350 to beneficiaries.

Again, after you have submitted your banking details, SASSA has to verify and approve the bank account details and make sure they match your information. Also, you should not have more than SASSA threshold in your account.

You can also go to the nearest SASSA Office to make inquiries about your money.

My Sassa 350 is approved with dates but when I go to boxer to collect it says no card record. I was told to check my bank account because I used my bank account as payment option but there’s no money in my account. What’s does *no card record* mean?

Reply
Universityonlineapplication October 30, 2022 - 12:02 pm

This means the customer’s card issuer has declined the transaction as the credit card number does not exist. The customer should use an alternate credit card.

You can also change your payment method.

No, we have received lots of complaints from people not being able to collect their R350 from Pick n Pay or Boxer. SASSA is asking applicants to use bank accounts for payments.

Also, SASSA says they are still working on paying all approved but pending R350 application payments. This means, you’ll not get the SMS if they have not paid you yet.

If I was collecting previously at the post office and I am now needing to collect for 4 months I cannot find the option to collect from pick n pay. I have dates but no SMS. So I wanted to know if I open a bank account and update my application will I then be paid?

Reply
Universityonlineapplication September 21, 2022 - 3:50 pm

Yes, in fact, SASSA wants all R350 applicants to use bank accounts to collect their payments. So, when you open your bank account, you’ll need to change your payment method by providing your bank details to SASSA.

SASSA will verify your bank details and pay you through your bank account.

My son lost his phone and he can’t remember his number used for the application. We only found out this year as I was re-applying for him that he was approved for the previous months August 2021 to February 2022 with collection dates. He is again approved for June and July 2022 no collection date as yet. So I want to know if he can go and collect for past months that’s got collection dates or he has to wait.

First, he has to update his cell phone number with the new one he is currently using. Once SASSA approves his new number, he can proceed to go to collect his R350 backlog payments.

Other than this, they will still not be able to verify his number and hence, will not withdraw his money to him.

He has to update his SASSA cellphone number with the one he is using now. Once SASSA approves his new contact, he can go to collect his R350 backlog payments.

If not, they will not be able to verify his contact and so, will not be able to withdraw his money.

It depends on your payment method. You can withdraw with the SASSA Card via ATM if you receive your money through a bank account. With retail stores like Checkers, uSave, and Boxer, you can withdraw when they are open.
